BluethroatWithout doubt my personal highlight of the spring was this adult male Bluethroat at Sandemar Reserve. Had seen a handful of autumn birds, but this was my first spring male and was a jewel of a bird. Found the bird feeding alongside an alder lined ditch, it fed for a couple of hours on short grass, giving great views for the whole period. A star bird...
